The strain Salmonella abortus equi C355 (CVCC 79355) was used for cultivation. This strain exhibits strong immunogenicity and high homology with the epidemic strains of Salmonella abortus equi encountered in clinical practice, resulting in enhanced protective efficacy.
[New Adjuvant, Long-Lasting Protection]
The vaccine is formulated with a dedicated diluent—novel nano‑aluminum hydroxide gel in saline. This diluent effectively mitigates immune stress in animals while rapidly activating the immune system to elicit an immune response, resulting in rapid antibody production, prolonged antibody persistence, and an extended period of protection.
[Advanced Technology, Peace of Mind]
Cultured on a high-nutrient medium, the bacterial count exceeded 1.0 × 10. 10 CFU per dose; by employing antigen purification technology, the vaccine ensures that the active antigen is highly concentrated and pure, thereby guaranteeing both high potency and high safety.
[Used for Both Horses and Donkeys, Widely Protected]
This vaccine is suitable for equids and, when administered to healthy horses and donkeys of the appropriate age, effectively reduces abortions caused by Salmonella equi while safeguarding animal health and extending the animals’ productive lifespan.

This product contains Salmonella abortus equi strain C355 (CVCC79355). Each dose contains not less than 1.0 × 10 live bacteria. 10 CFU.

[Functions and Uses]
For the prevention of equine abortion caused by Salmonella abortus equi.
【Usage and Dosage】
Intramuscular injection into the gluteal region. Primarily indicated for pregnant mares at least one month post‑conception; may also be used in non‑pregnant mares and stallions. Prior to use, dilute each dose—specified on the vial label—with 20% aluminum hydroxide gel‑saline or saline to a final volume of 1.0 mL per dose. Administer twice annually, approximately four months apart. For pregnant mares, schedule one vaccination in September–October and another in January–February of the following year, with each mare receiving one dose per administration.
[Precautions]
(1) Dilute immediately before use; after dilution, store in a cool place and use within 4 hours.
(2) During storage and transportation, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures.
(3) Local disinfection should be performed at the time of vaccination.
(4) Used vaccine vials, equipment, and any remaining vaccine should be rendered harmless.
