This product is not only used to prevent goat pox and sheep pox, but also a special product designated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs for the prevention of nodular skin diseases in cattle, and it also has a certain preventive effect on sheep aphtha. On August 16, 2021, the product was exported to Laos for emergency vaccination of bovine nodular skin disease.
[Main composition and content]
This product contains an attenuated strain of goat pox virus (CVCC AV41). The virus content in each portion shall not be less than 1035TCID50.
[Appearance]
Sponge loose mass, easy to be separated from the bottle wall, and quickly dissolved after adding diluent.
[Function]
For the prevention of goat pox and sheep pox. Immunity is produced 4 to 5 days after vaccination, and the immunization period is 12 months.
[Usage and dosage]
Intracutaneous injection on the medial side of the tail root. Indicate the head portion according to the bottle label, dilute with normal saline to 0.5ml per head portion, regardless of the size of sheep, each 0.5mlo (cow is 5 times the dose of sheep, I .e. dilute the 5 head portions of vaccine to 0.5ml with normal saline, use 1ml disposable syringe with 4.5-7 needle, and inject intradermal injection inside the tail root.)
[Note]]
(1) Whether it is goats, sheep or cattle, emphasize intradermal injection, otherwise it will seriously affect the immune effect.
(2) pregnant animals with caution, if need to use, injection, should avoid causing mechanical abortion.
(3) When there is an epidemic of sheep pox and bovine nodular skin diseases, healthy sheep (cattle) without pox can be vaccinated urgently.
(4) After the vaccine is opened, it is limited to the same day.
(5) When inoculated, local disinfection should be made.
(6) Used vaccine bottles, apparatus and unused vaccines should be treated innocuously.
