From October 8 to 31, 2024, the Party Branch of Aolong Bio, the Trade Union, and the Administrative Center jointly organized the first “Aolong Cup” Staff Sports Meet, themed “Passionate Sports, Healthy Aolong.” This staff sports meet aims to enrich the leisure and cultural life of all company employees, strengthen the sense of team building within the company, enhance the spirit of teamwork among all employees, and promote the development of the company’s spiritual civilization and corporate culture. Under the leadership of General Manager Fu Gang, all employees actively participated in the sports meet and together enjoyed a splendid sporting event.

On October 8, the company’s inaugural “Aolong Cup” Employee Sports Meet was solemnly opened at the company’s sports field. Teams from various departments and the referees entered the venue with high spirits, their steps firm and their eyes gleaming with a burning desire for victory. The leader’s speech was inspiring, and the athletes’ and referees’ oaths were solemn and powerful—as they pledged to compete with fairness and in the spirit of unity and collaboration. Afterwards, General Manager Fu Gang officially declared the opening of Aolong Bio’s first “Aolong Cup” Employee Sports Meet. The final segment of the opening ceremony featured the first basketball exhibition match of the Games, pitting the company’s senior management team against a women’s employee team. Spectators cheered enthusiastically from the sidelines, cheering on the athletes with loud shouts and applause. This inaugural exhibition match officially kicked off the grand sporting event.

Over the next four weeks, these various events will take turns being held one after another. On the playing fields, athletes are sweating profusely, showcasing the vitality and passion of the Aolong people. At the inaugural “Aolong Cup” Workers’ Games, the much-anticipated highlight event was undoubtedly the team basketball competition. The company formed eight mixed-gender basketball teams—each representing a different department—competing fiercely for both honor and the spirit of teamwork. In the intense men’s basketball matches, every athlete demonstrated superb skills and mastery of the game, making the contests thrilling and captivating. Every pass, every slam dunk, was a testament to the power of the team working together. As the scores kept flipping back and forth, spectators held their breath, unable to predict the outcome until the very last moment. Although the basketball players were fiercely determined to win, they embodied even more deeply the sportsmanship principle of “friendship first.” Whenever an opponent stumbled or got injured, the game would immediately pause; players rushed forward to offer concern and assistance. When a player wearing glasses accidentally had them fall off, his opponent instantly stopped, picked up the glasses, and carefully put them back on for him... These heartwarming moments vividly showcased Aolong’s corporate spirit of unity, mutual support, and care for others.

On the women’s basketball court, it was a sea of laughter and joyful chatter. Although some of the female basketball players weren’t very familiar with the sport, their enthusiasm for participating in this athletic competition remained undiminished. To shine on the court, the women’s basketball team actively organized training sessions before the games, seeking advice from their colleagues to hone their basketball skills and strive for glory for the team. On the court, during passes and shots, though their movements were still somewhat clumsy, their genuine and optimistic attitude inspired every spectator present, filling the entire arena with a cheerful and uplifting atmosphere. For these female players, the joy of playing basketball seemed even more important. They often created opportunities for teammates who rarely had chances to shoot, ensuring that each teammate could fully experience the happiness basketball brings. This spirit of selflessness and consideration for others not only strengthened the team’s cohesion but also further elevated the significance of holding the staff sports meet.

In the basketball game, although some teams were trailing in the score, they remained undaunted. Facing a strong and formidable opponent, the athletes demonstrated their utmost sportsmanship and spirit of unity. Closing Ceremony: A Moment of Glory

After fierce competition, the winners of each event were announced one after another. On October 31, the inaugural “Aolong Cup” Employee Games—a sporting event lasting nearly four weeks—held its grand closing ceremony and award presentation. Aolong Bio’s General Manager Fu Gang delivered the opening remarks. General Manager Fu Gang noted that the first “Aolong Cup” Employee Games featured a total of 233 events, during which participants demonstrated Aolong employees’ spirit of tenacious effort and collaborative teamwork. At the same time, General Manager Fu Gang expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the staff members who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the Employee Games, whose hard work provided a solid foundation for the success of the event. General Manager Fu Gang also emphasized that this Employee Games not only enriched employees’ leisure and cultural lives but also enhanced their awareness of the importance of regular physical exercise. On the playing fields, employees displayed an indomitable fighting spirit. This spirit was not only evident in the competitions themselves but also inspired every Aolong employee in their daily work.
