On September 17, 2026, in accordance with the COFCO Jiajiakang Supplier Quality and Safety Management Measures and the Group’s General Supplier Quality and Safety Assessment Standards, an audit team comprising experts from the Beijing Huasilian Certification Center, along with representatives from COFCO Jiajiakang’s Central Procurement Department and the Animal Husbandry Department, visited Chongqing Aolong Biological Products Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site audit of the newly proposed vaccine supplier. This audit was a practical, real‑time factory inspection, requiring the bidder to produce actual market‑available products on the relevant production line; simulated production was not permitted. Aolong Biological successfully completed the full‑process dynamic verification and document review, passing this rigorous assessment with outstanding results and officially being added to COFCO Jiajiakang’s roster of qualified veterinary vaccine suppliers.
At the inaugural meeting, Aolong Bio presented to the expert panel a comprehensive overview of the company, a comparative analysis of its product strengths and weaknesses, its manufacturing process flow, and a dedicated report on its exogenous nucleic acid control system, as required. Liu Xin, Deputy General Manager of Production and Technical Management at Aolong Bio, provided the expert panel with an in-depth analysis of the company’s current development status and the competitive advantages of its core products. He highlighted the distinctive features of the production process and the comprehensive external nucleic acid risk‑control technology system, showcasing the company’s extensive technical expertise in this area. He stated that successfully passing the new supplier audit marks a fresh starting point for cooperation between the two parties. Following the initial meeting, the audit team promptly conducted a comprehensive, high‑standard on‑site inspection of all facilities involved in Aolong Bio’s bid‑eligible product line, including production workshops, quality‑control laboratories, raw and auxiliary material warehouses, finished‑product storage, liquid‑storage areas, hazardous‑materials storage, and the water‑production station. Subsequently, they performed a two‑hour forward and backward traceability exercise on the bid‑eligible product. This audit adopted a rigorous assessment approach that combined static document review with dynamic, hands‑on verification of the production line, covering eight key modules: basic management, source‑level control, process control, export‑end management, quality and testing capabilities, traceability and emergency management, inspection and continuous improvement, and safety and environmental protection. In accordance with the audit plan, Aolong Bio’s production line for the cell‑culture‑based inactivated viral vaccine (including suspension‑culture technology) carried out full‑scale, real‑world commercial‑scale manufacturing throughout the entire process. Critical steps—such as reagent preparation, passage, virus inoculation, inactivation, emulsification, vaccine formulation, purification, and liquid dispensing and packaging—were all witnessed on site by the expert panel, with complete, authentic production records meticulously maintained to prevent any simulated production activities.
The audit team conducted on-site visits to the production workshops and quality‑control laboratories, reviewed extensive system documentation and batch records, and carried out inquiries and verifications on 11 key technical aspects, including fluorescent quantitative PCR assays for exogenous viral nucleic acids and virus TCID assays. Focusing on the institutional framework, implementation records, and practical application of the exogenous nucleic acid control system, the team performed a thorough assessment and undertook multiple rounds of risk analysis and comprehensive evaluation. Following two days of comprehensive, meticulous, and rigorous review by the experts, the audit team expressed high praise and unanimous approval for Aolong Bio’s robust quality management system, its authentic and compliant on‑site production practices, and its solid technical capabilities in exogenous nucleic acid control.
