China and Mongolia Join Hands to Safeguard Public Safety, Strengthening Cross-Border Cooperation to Build a Robust Barrier Against Livestock Disease Outbreaks

On June 26, 2026, a vibrant atmosphere prevailed at Chongqing Aolong Biological Products Co., Ltd. as the company formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Mongolia’s State‑Owned Bio‑Joint Corporation. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including animal disease prevention and control, joint vaccine research and development, and coordinated market expansion both domestically and internationally, reaching multiple agreements on collaboration and jointly ushering in a new phase of long-term, deep‑seated cooperation in livestock disease prevention between China and Mongolia.
The signing ceremony was chaired by Wang Meigui, Deputy General Manager of Chongqing Aolong Biological Products Co., Ltd. Fu Gang, General Manager of Aolong Bio, and Bayan Dulan-Süren, Chief Executive Officer of the State‑Owned Biotechnology Joint Corporation of Mongolia, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

Wan Rong, Secretary of the Rongchang District Party Committee; Qin Xingjian, Member of the District Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department; Wang Liliang, Director of the District Party Committee Office; and Zhu Xi, Director of the Management Committee of the Rongchang National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, were present to witness the event. Also in attendance were Xie Jianyong, Chairman of Huapai Biotechnology Group; experts from Mongolia’s National Veterinary Drug Testing and Certification Laboratory and the General Administration of Veterinary Services of Mongolia; representatives of Nuominhuchii Trading Limited Liability Company; as well as more than 60 Chinese and Mongolian guests and departmental managers from Aolong Bio, who jointly participated in the signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, Fu Gang, General Manager of Aolong Bio, delivered the opening remarks. He expressed his gratitude to the Rongchang District Party Committee and District Government for their longstanding support, while extending a warm welcome to the Mongolian delegation that had traveled from afar. Fu Gang noted that China and Mongolia share common borders and enjoy friendly neighborly relations, with a well‑established foundation of cooperation in animal quarantine and veterinary disease prevention. This signing represents an important opportunity to deepen industrial collaboration between the two sides. Moving forward, Aolong Bio will work with its Mongolian partners to build a long‑term, stable cooperative framework across four key areas—product export, technology sharing, joint research and development, and talent exchange—thereby jointly safeguarding the health of both humans and livestock and ensuring border ecological security.

Earlier, a Mongolian delegation conducted an on-site visit to Aolong Bio’s full‑process production facility, and the two sides engaged in multiple rounds of detailed consultations on industrial implementation, witnessing firsthand the company’s outstanding technical strengths in zoonotic disease prevention and control, as well as in the monitoring and integrated management of livestock and poultry infectious diseases. He noted that the State‑Owned Biotechnology Corporation of Mongolia is the country’s sole state‑run biopharmaceutical enterprise, and that this strategic cooperation will effectively elevate the internationalization of Mongolia’s animal husbandry sector while strengthening the bilateral public health safety framework. Moving forward, both parties will continue to promote mutual technical exchanges and steadily advance the implementation and tangible outcomes of various collaborative projects.

Bayan Dulan‑Süren, CEO of Mongolia’s State‑Owned Bio‑Joint Corporation, shared her firsthand impressions from the on‑site visit. She was deeply impressed by Aolong Bio’s state‑of‑the‑art production processes, its high‑precision R&D and testing laboratories, and its core products—such as vaccines for cattle and small ruminants and sheep pox—which have been independently developed by the company. These factors have bolstered her confidence in forging a deeper partnership between the two sides. She acknowledged that this trip carries the high‑level expectations of Mongolia’s leadership for enhanced cooperation, and that she will subsequently engage with Aolong Bio in comprehensive, multi‑tiered collaborative innovation. Together, they will co‑develop new technologies and products to safeguard both human and animal health, implement their cooperation roadmap step by step, and work in concert to elevate and modernize the China–Mongolia livestock disease‑prevention industry.

Mr. Wan emphasized that this cross‑border collaboration marks not only a new chapter of mutual benefit and win‑win outcomes for both companies, but also a vivid demonstration of deepened integration between the Chinese and Mongolian livestock sectors. In turn, the Mongolian delegation returned a distinctive gift imbued with the unique charm of Mongolia to Aolong Bio.
