On June 15, the joint delegation of the “2026 Overseas Chinese Media and Overseas Chinese Leaders’ Sichuan–Chongqing Tour” paid a visit to Chongqing Aolong Biological Products Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Aolong Bio) for inspection and guidance. The company’s General Manager, Fu Gang, Deputy General Manager, Wang Meigui, and other executives extended a warm welcome to the delegation, while Deputy General Manager Liu Xin provided a comprehensive briefing and engaged in detailed discussions throughout the visit.

According to reports, the “2026 Overseas Chinese Media and Overseas Community Leaders’ Sichuan–Chongqing Tour” is a key sub‑event of the 2026 Belt and Road Cooperation Conference for the Development of Overseas Chinese and Chinese Communities. Co‑organized by the Chongqing Municipal Government’s Office for Overseas Chinese Affairs, the Chongqing Municipal Government’s Information Office, the Chongqing Federation of Overseas Chinese, the Sichuan Provincial Government’s Office for Overseas Chinese Affairs, the Sichuan Provincial Government’s Information Office, the Sichuan Federation of Overseas Chinese, the Chongqing Branch of China News Service, and the Sichuan Branch of China News Service, the event brings together more than 20 leading overseas Chinese-language media outlets and 73 guests, including 11 overseas community leaders. Its aim is to gain an in‑depth understanding of the strategic significance and practical achievements of building the Chengdu–Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, while leveraging the unique strengths of overseas community leaders—strong international influence, extensive networks, and close ties with government and business—to build global consensus, mobilize the overseas Chinese community, and foster a favorable international public‑opinion environment for Sichuan and Chongqing’s high‑level opening-up and high‑quality development.
As a leading enterprise in the veterinary biologics industry of Rongchang District, Chongqing, Aolong Bio has consistently upheld its original aspiration of “developing renowned products to benefit humanity,” focusing on addressing critical challenges in the prevention and control of zoonotic diseases and livestock and poultry epidemics. Rooted in Southwest China and extending its reach globally, Aolong Bio has become an important stop for visiting delegations seeking to understand the development of the Sichuan–Chongqing biopharmaceutical sector and explore opportunities for international cooperation.
During the visit, Liu Xin, Deputy General Manager of Aolong Bio, provided the delegation with a detailed overview of the company’s development trajectory, its R&D and innovation capabilities, its global market strategy, and its extensive product portfolio. He also led the group on an on-site tour of several of Aolong Bio’s state-of-the-art, automated production facilities.

According to reports, since its establishment in 2007, Aolong Bio has leveraged the distinctive advantages of Rongchang District’s animal husbandry industry, kept pace with the industrial development of the Chengdu–Chongqing region, and transitioned from technology importation to independent innovation. The company has steadily grown into a modern high-tech enterprise integrating the research and development, production, sales, and technical services of veterinary biological products. Currently occupying over 100 mu of land, Aolong Bio has built facilities including a live‑vaccine workshop for livestock products, an inactivated‑vaccine workshop for livestock products, a quality‑control and R&D center, and an experimental animal facility, thereby establishing a complete production chain that spans from R&D and testing to experimentation and manufacturing.
In the R&D sector, Aolong Bio remains committed to innovation-driven development and ongoing scientific breakthroughs, having accumulated more than 60 national patents. The company has successfully developed multiple Class I, Class II, and Class III new veterinary drugs, including a recombinant subunit vaccine for ovine cystic echinococcosis (hydatid disease), thereby providing robust technological support for China’s public health security and the sustainable development of the livestock industry.
In terms of market strategy, Aolong Bio adheres to a dual‑pronged approach: “rooted in the domestic market, with an international outlook.” Domestically, its products now reach major regions across the country. In the livestock‑raising sector, a comprehensive sales and technical service network has been established. On the international front, the company is actively expanding its presence along the Belt and Road countries and regions, thereby supporting the sound development of local animal husbandry.

Subsequently, Chen Lin, Chairperson of Blue Planet International Investment Company (Timor-Leste) and a member of the media delegation for the “2026 Overseas Chinese Media and Community Leaders’ Sichuan–Chongqing Tour,” acknowledged that while Timor-Leste’s livestock sector holds tremendous development potential, significant gaps remain in areas such as disease prevention and control, specialized technical training, and farm management—constraints that hinder the sector’s scaling-up and high‑quality growth. She expressed her hope to engage in deeper exchanges and cooperation with Aolong Bio in the future, leveraging the complementary strengths of both parties to boost bilateral economic and trade ties between Timor-Leste and China, expand the trade volume of veterinary biologics and agricultural and livestock products, and foster the integrated development of related industries, thereby making a positive contribution to the economic prosperity of both countries and to global public health security.
Following their visit and inspection, guests including Xie Yan, President of Canada’s Tian Shi Weekly and Vice President of the All-China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, and Hong Wanzhi, Vice President of the U.S. Chinese Business Association and Executive Vice President of Yunhuitang Holdings Co., Ltd., all remarked that Aolong Bio is strengthening its defenses for livestock disease prevention and global public health security through intelligent, standardized production, while leveraging cutting-edge technological capabilities to actively fulfill the mission and responsibilities of an animal health enterprise.
Meanwhile, during this visit and inspection, Su Jiao, Director of the Chongqing Branch of China News Service, expressed her high appreciation for Aolong Bio’s outstanding contributions and remarkable achievements in promoting the healthy development of China’s animal husbandry, following an in-depth conversation with Fu Gang, General Manager of Aolong Bio. Su Jiao stated that, as an important bridge connecting China with the rest of the world, China News Service stands ready to strengthen communication and collaboration with Aolong Bio, deepen cooperation in their respective fields, achieve mutual empowerment, and work together to fortify the global public health safety net.

This “2026 Overseas Chinese Media and Overseas Community Leaders’ Visit to Sichuan and Chongqing” event, which brought participants to Aolong Bio, not only recognizes the company’s comprehensive strength but also serves as a concentrated showcase of the Chengdu–Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle’s efforts to elevate the quality and efficiency of its biopharmaceutical industry. From Rongchang to the world, Aolong Bio is writing a new chapter in the development of veterinary biologics through technological innovation, product excellence, and open collaboration.
Looking ahead, Aolong Bio will continue to deepen its expertise in the field of veterinary biologics, fully integrate into the development of the Chengdu–Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, and proactively seize the opportunities presented by the Belt and Road Initiative. By leveraging the outreach power of overseas Chinese-language media and the resource advantages of the overseas Chinese community, the company will accelerate its international expansion, contributing Chinese wisdom and solutions to the healthy development of global animal husbandry.
